I look at my life in retrospect, the ups and downs I have encountered and I realize optimism is probably what helped me endure many things. Years ago, before I got in to radio, I was a server in a semi-fine dining restaurant. Many of the servers would come in before their shifts, complaining about how they never made any money while serving lunches. I'd look at them and simply say "you will make as much money as you want to make". If you walk in with the positive mindset, determined to make it happen, 95% of the time, you will. It's all about how you handle the situation mentally. If you want to do it, believe you can do it, you will.
I invite you to share your "glass half full" experiences. How has positivity and optimism benefited you in your life?
